Turf operations guided by discipline, process and clear communication.

I’m a turf professional with a finance background. I focus on process over results: disciplined execution, simple systems people actually use, and data that supports better decisions in the field.

Selected projects

A few examples of practical work—built for real crews and real timelines.

Early Order Program (EOP) Workbook

Excel • Forecasting • Vendor rollups

A multi-tab workbook for annual chemical planning: schedules, rate/quantity math, vendor rollups, and budget visibility—built to support monthly and yearly planning.

Green Sand Project

Field Trials • Materials • Scale-Up

I helped develop a matching sand to reduce the “patchy” look from early dormancy in Zoysia and improve overall presentation. We started small (literally a cup of sand) and kept refining the blend until it matched in the real world. After more than 60 trials, we scaled up to tons of material for practical use on the course.

About

Process over results. Grit & Consistency over shortcuts. Systems over guesswork.

My goal is simple: make high standards achievable day to day through better systems, better information, and a crew‑first mindset.

I started my career in finance, where pace, accountability, and attention to detail were non‑negotiable. Over time, my passion for golf and the daily challenge of course conditioning pulled me toward the turf industry. What I found was that many of the skills that mattered most in finance—urgency, preparation, and clear decision‑making—translated directly to golf course operations.

That background shapes how I approach turf today. I focus on building repeatable processes, prioritizing the right work at the right time, and supporting the crew with clear information so expectations are realistic and standards stay high.

How I Work

I believe in building repeatable processes that still work when things get hectic. Clear standards, simple tools, and steady execution help the course improve week after week.

  • Process: define the standard, document it, train to it, then iterate
  • Data: measure what matters, keep inputs clean, make decisions transparent
  • Team: remove friction so crews can focus on great work
